Three faculty members and three students from Gaza universities, all currently displaced within Gaza or refugees elsewhere, will discuss the effects of the war on their employment and studies and the most pressing needs of Gaza scholars. In 2023-25, Israel launched an assault on Palestinian higher education in Gaza. The Israeli military destroyed all 12 Gaza university campuses, as well as archives, libraries, cultural centers, and museums that preserved invaluable cultural heritage.
